Steps for Applying for an Exam
- Once you have prepared for the exam and reviewed the appropriate Exam Content Outline and the information on this page, you will then create an Online Account as a New User (see LOG-IN section on the right side of this page). Fill out the necessary information. It will take up to 24 business hours for your Account to be linked to our accounts file.
- All exam candidates should register at least two weeks prior to anticipated test date. Testing appointments are not scheduled at the time of registration, but are scheduled after you have applied and paid for the exam.
- After you are logged into your Account, click on Apply for an Exam, click on the appropriate exam APPLY button (FP-C, CCP-C, TP-C, CP-C, TR-C, WP-C), then click CONTINUE.
- Fill out the required information and upload a copy of your current paramedic license. Your application will not be approved, and your exam results will not be forwarded to you unless we have a copy of your license on file.
- Submit payment information then review the information you submitted. Check the Terms and Conditions box, verify the the information, then click PLACE ORDER.
- You will receive an email that contains an Eligibility number and instructions for scheduling your exam within 48 business hours after your exam application has been approved. To view Testing Centers near you, click here.
- If you pass the exam, within 10 days you will receive an email stating that the IBSC Office has received your exam results. You will also receive an email from The Award Group giving you instructions for ordering your complementary certificate and wallet card.
